The Rocky adds the conditions:The DNCC announced today that bloggers credentialed as part of the DemConvention State Blogger Corps will be seated next to their respective state delegations on the DNC convention floor at the Pepsi Center in Denver, giving them "unprecedented access" to those they are covering.
Leah D. Daughtry, CEO of the DNCC, said in a press release, "Time and again, we talk about our commitment to bring down the walls of the Pepsi Center and engage more people in the Convention experience using new technology and other creative means. Granting unprecedented access to our state bloggers shows we are serious about making this an inclusive, accessible event."
Bloggers will be credentialed for the Democratic National Convention, officials announced this afternoon.List their authority? What does that even mean? Whatever, I'll give it a shot. Somehow, though, I don't think I'll be selected.
The Democratic National Convention Committee said bloggers must apply by April 15 and will be held to strict criteria, including having been in existence six months prior to requesting credentials and have at least 120 politically related blog posts.
Bloggers must also submit their daily audience and list their authority based on Technorati statistics.
